1. How long have you been with N&L?

I have been a Nacht & Lewis architectural student intern since June 2021.

2. Do you have any pets?

I have a cat name Zuko and a red-eared slider turtle name Koopa.

3. Do you speak any other languages?

I speak English and Spanish fluently.

4. What’s your dream vacation?

To travel across Japan sometime after college graduation.

5. What’s your favorite part of working in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry?

How hands-on it is. Collaboration is something that holds value in this field, which allows for a healthy work environment.

6. If you weren’t a student intern, what would you be doing?

I would be volunteering for National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS), which I am a member of. More specifically, I would mentor at their Architecture Camp, helping expose minority middle school and high school students to the architectural field.

7. What inspires you?

I am inspired by simply being around passionate people. Learning from people that love their work in whatever they do allows me to put passion in what I love.

8. Do you have any artistic talent? 

I really enjoy sketching and painting. Most of my work consists of sketching buildings and cityscapes or painting natural landscapes.

9. What is your favorite season?

Summer, I love the outdoors so summer allows me to do hobbies like hiking, swimming, and kayaking.

10. Where would you choose to live by: the ocean, mountains, or woods. 

The ocean because it brings a peaceful and fresh atmosphere that I really enjoy.
