Facility Evaluations: Professional facility reports and evaluations provided by a Certified Access Specialist (CASp).
Peer Reviews: Architectural peer review services by CASp and licenses architects.
DESIGN & PLANNING
Strategic Planning: Establishing the early framework of a project, identifying stakeholders, exploring opportunities, pre-project planning, and identifying major tasks.
Building Code Advocacy: Interpreting and clarifying the codes with relevant agencies to ensure maximum user friendliness.
Community Outreach: Introducing the project to the community, building a consensus, and ultimately helping the client sell the project to the community.
Site Analysis: Investigation of site(s), research of site parameters, recommendations
Programming: Identification of operational drivers, required spaces, organizational drivers
Feasibility Studies/Needs Assessments: As-built (old drawings/do the drawings match what has already been built) review & validation, building investigation, project viability, validating projects, determining clients' needs
Master Planning: Long term phase planning of building construction, phased over time through multiple buildings
Accessibility Compliance & CASp Consulting: Risk management/analysis to a client, building & site assessment, transition planning
Space Planning: Accounting for the function of and organizational relationship between the spaces on the site.
Design Visioning: Identification the desired aesthetics of the building(s).
Criteria & Bridging Documents: Design-build project definition and performance requirements.
Sustainability Consultation & Planning: LEED, Net Zero, CHPS, Cal Green, Title 24, energy compliance, materials selection, system selection, construction standards/specifications, life cycle costs, and carbon reduction.
Building & Site Design: Development of project designs that meet the needs and goals of all stakeholders.
Interior Design: Material and color selection, FF&E (fixtures, furnishings and equipment), space planning, and furniture planning.
Constructability & Quality Assurance/Peer Review: Identification and remedying of potential design inconsistencies and project elements that could tax project resources and timelines.
Cost Estimating & Budget Management: Utilizing a target value design process that ensures the best possible value for the owner and/or stakeholders.
Agency Review Management: Ensuring long-term, beneficial relationships between all parties involved.
BIDDING & CONSTRUCTION
Bid Phase Management: Assisting with advertisement review of proposals.
Comprehensive Construction Administration: RFI's, submittal reviews, regulatory agency interaction, review applications for payments, review change orders, site observation, record drawings, confirming construction adheres to design intent, and project closeout.
