We’re excited to welcome a new addition to our team, Jade Rosario, Project Administrator, a talented and ambitious architectural design student with a passion for sustainable design. With hands-on experience designing and maintaining public green spaces, gardens, and landscapes that prioritize environmental impact, she brings valuable skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and Geographic Information System (GIS) to the table. Her fresh perspective and commitment to thoughtful, eco-conscious design makes her a great fit for our growing team.
How long have you been with N&L?
I started with N&L May 2025.
Do you have any pets?
I currently don’t have any pets of my own, but I do a lot of pet sitting for friends and family so there’s usually an animal friend around. One regular at my house is Rocky the dog!
What is your favorite movie?
Sci-fi is my favorite genre. Gattaca is one of my all time favorites.
What’s your favorite part of working in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry?
I am new to the industry, but I have always loved construction sites and seeing how they start with raw earthworks. I think seeing a project start from bare earth into an occupiable space with a wide use of functions is an extraordinary feat of mankind.
If you weren’t a Project Administrator, what would you be doing?
Prior to moving to Sacramento I did off-grid property management. If I was still living rurally, you might find me doing chores here.
Do you have a favorite quote?
“The universe meets you at the depth of your surrender, not the height of your struggle.”
What’s your favorite season?
Spring will always be my favorite season as humans and plants come out of the winter hibernation.
What do you do in your downtime? (Cook? Ski? Play sports?)
In my free time I love travel as much as possible, even if it’s just a weekend trip to the coast or camping in Tahoe. When there is time, I love to take international trips to explore far off places. This is me in biking in Lisbon.
Favorite song or band/musician?
Chet Baker is one of my favorite musicians.
What is your favorite N&L past project?
When I first moved to Sacramento I had a clear view of Elks Towers from my apartment. From day one, I was enamored with it’s aesthetic and later found out that N&L has historical ties to this building.
Where would you choose to live: by the ocean, in the mountains or in the woods?
If I could choose, I’d have it all, cabin up the mountains with ocean views and redwoods.
What is your favorite thing to do in Sacramento?
I enjoy all the outdoor activities like yoga at Fremont, salsa dancing in Old Sacramento, or Concerts in the Park.
