PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The University of California Davis Health (UCDH) Central Utility Plant Expansion (CUPx) is driven by the campus utility load growth primarily from the new California Tower and 48X Complex. The California Tower will require utility support prior to its opening in 2030. In addition, the project establishes a road map to address the UC Policy on Sustainable Practices’ goals of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2025, a path to reduce on-site natural gas and future growth through 2035.
