PROJECT DESCRIPTION
N&L along with CalCASp conducted site reviews at parks within Monterey County for access compliance. Once the data was gathered by our team of certified access specialists, N&L worked with Kitchell to summarize the findings along with cost estimates for remediation. Reports were generated for each park ranging from a few hundred pages to a few thousand depending on the access barriers and site conditions.
The Monterey Park Evaluations presented a unique challenge in collecting a vast amount of accessibility information in a short amount of time. The client also requested that we separate and organize the data so that the cost estimate can be viewed with alternates. To overcome this challenge, N&L teamed with CalCASp’s experts to cover more parks in a short amount of time. As a team, we used a common cloud-based software suite to deliver consistent data covering thousands of accessibility barriers over nine parks.
