ABOUT

With over 34 years of architectural experience, Mike has worked on a multitude of project types for public and private clientele. His portfolio includes civic and justice projects for numerous Federal, State and local public entities as well as senior living and commercial and medical office work in the private sector. A number of his projects have used design-build as the delivery method and he has spoken at conferences about the process. With his background in finance, he has led the firm’s efforts in public-private partnership projects and pursuits. As a firm Principal, he leads the efforts of our civic and private market sector teams.

As President, Mike provides leadership, management and strategic direction to the firm and is the positive voice of support behind all the activities of Nacht & Lewis. He has served in board and committee leadership positions with the Central Valley and East Bay Chapters of the American Institute of Architects. He has also served community organizations for many years including the Eskaton Foundation Board of Directors, San Juan USD Citizens Bond Oversight Committee and Sacramento Zoological Society. He is currently on the CAED Dean’s Leadership Council at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
