Speakers:

Lorenzo lopezLorenzo Lopez, AIA, LEED AP leads the justice sector at Nacht & Lewis focusing on planning, code compliance and sustainability. He has planned a variety of justice facilities including courthouses, sheriff offices, re-entry facilities, and medical/mental health facilities. During COVID-19, he has successfully maneuver his management and master planning skills through multiple projects. His experience with agency requirements provide him an understanding of how to retain productivity and effective communication with government entities including the Judicial Council of California and the State Fire Marshal.


Eric sifuentes Eric Sifuentes, CASp, RA leads the firm in understanding and resolving ADA, California Title 24, universal design and other accessibility issues in new and modernization work. As an active member of the accessibility community, Eric is involved in the CASI Institute and served on the board as a former President. During COVID-19, Mr. Sifuentes has been able to utilized his skills and experience to navigate his time working from home efficiently through multiple virtual platforms. He is currently involved in accessibility work with Monterey County and ADA compliance at Sacramento’s Ziggurat.


James Hicks specializes in IT Support and has over 15 years of technical experience. He has a hybrid role of IT and Design Technician where his focus is on providing software and hardware support for users. James expertise in technology has guided him through optimizing his performance during COVD-19, making him an ideal speaker for this webinar.

 


Kim Chapman serves as the Director of Risk Management & Safety, Kim has been responsible for review and implementation of Federal, State, County, and Client COVID-19 guidelines, orders, and requirements. She helped develop Roebbelen’s COVID-19 Management Plan and created a Site-Specific COVID-19 Safety Plan template for Roebbelen’s project teams to use at each jobsite.  Kim has implemented COVID-19 training programs and exposure reporting protocols and holds a COVID-19 Safety Call each week with Roebbelen’s field supervisors to address any changes in requirements or procedures.

 


Rachel Miller is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Roebbelen Contracting. Prior to joining Roebbelen in 2020, Rachel spent most of her career working in the legal industry. A trusted advisor known for effectively navigating challenging situations with integrity, she has spent the past twenty years serving organizations in both the strategic and tactical sides of talent management. In her current role, Rachel drives the talent and culture strategy for Roebbelen.  The past six months have been filled with unprecedented upheaval for all of us. Keeping Roebbelen employees connected and providing a sense of stability in the midst of these uncertain times has been the primary focus of the Roebbelen HR team during the COVID pandemic.
