Originally designed for Herman Hansen, this residence and storefront was built in 1949-1950. With a storefront on the ground floor and a living dwelling on the second and third, this structure represents one of the last identified residences designed by Leonard Starks.
In 1952, Mr. Starks was contracted by Herman Hansen to enlarge the living dwelling on the second floor. A small third floor was later added to this structure but at this time it is unclear if Mr. Starks had a hand in it’s design.
Today a bookstore and a Dog Bakery Boutique reside in the storefront.
