Capital Nursery was founded by the Armstrong brothers, Eugene and Charles, in 1936. It was a local plant nursery that offered a multitude of landscape plants and products to the community of Sacramento. This facility was designed by Leonard Starks in the early 1950’s.
Capital Nursery closed it’s doors in August 2012 and was demolished to make way for a supermarket.
